Port Wine brand Amável Costa refreshes its image. The logo was updated and AMÁVEL COSTA wines hit the market with a renewed image. In 2016, the label and back label on the Amável Costa Port bottles were replaced by white serigraphy art in an exquisite bottle, reminiscent of the traditional serigraphs in Port bottles with a modern approach. The individual cardboard box, also renewed, continues to be part of the Amável Costa dynamics.

Amável Costa’s 40 Year Old Tawny Port, launched in 2015, completes the Old Tawnies series – 10 Year Old Tawny Port, 20 Year Old Tawny Port and 30 Year Old Tawny Port – and joins the sequence, adding yet another medal for this category of Amável Costa wines. Amável Costa’s 40 Year Old Tawny Port received the Silver Medal at Decanter World Wine Awards 2015.

Amável Costa’s wines were present for the first time in an international competition and received Triple Gold for Amável Costa’s Old Tawnies in the 10th International Wine Competition in Arribes, 2014. Amável Costa’s 10 Year Old Tawny Port, Amável Costa’s 20 Year Old Tawny Port and Amável Costa’s 30 Year Old Tawny Port received the Gold Medal.
