Its name (lit. “Paradise”) comes from the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Also located in the Upper Douro, quite near the parish of Cedovim, council of Vila Nova de Foz Coa, it has 11 ha of production area.
It features a landscape typical of the Douro region, rough with steep hills, which illustrate the strenuous work typical of the cultivation of these vineyards. The plantations include the mixture of vine varieties in traditional old vines but also Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and, among others, Tinta Barroca, about which Agostinho Amável Costa felt so passionately.
